      • To perform condition assessment on operating assets of the NSEWL, CCL and BPLRT lines within Singapore’s RTS network and recommend appropriate maintenance and renewal intervention measures to reinstate the assets to an acceptable baseline condition relative to its age, where required.
    • Condition Assessment of Rail Operating Assets – NEL and SPLRT Lines of Singapore’s RTS Network (2019-2022)
      • To perform condition assessment on operating assets of the NEL, and SPLRT lines within Singapore’s RTS network and recommend appropriate maintenance and renewal intervention measures to reinstate the assets to an acceptable baseline condition relative to its age, where required.

  • MTR Corporation Limited
    • Consultancy services on Comprehensive Life Assessment for Critical 1500V DC Traction Power Supply System and Overhead Line System for Operating Railway (2020-2021)
      • Conduct a comprehensive life assessment for critical power supply system equipment (i.e. power transformers, rectifiers, switchgears and cables)
      • Carry out on-site assessment on each representative sample of power transformers, switchgears and cables.
      • Carry out off-site assessments on each representative sample of cables
      • Conclude the asset condition with a proposed health index, residue life, deterioration mechanism and key issues affecting the asset life.
    • Consultancy Study on Life Assurance for OHL Equipment on KTL (2021)
      • To conduct asset condition plan on elderly OHL system of KTL approaching to confirm asset’s ability to meet business needs, including:
        • Identify the key factors from environmental and operational conditions impact and deteriorate on the performance & reliability and potential vulnerable aspects of the main OHL equipment as listed below, referring to the analysis from the operation experience with same type product is recommended;
        • Contact Wire;
        • Messenger wire, feeder wire and fault current return wire;
        • Insulators, section insulator and isolator;
        • Dropper, and;
        • Mast, cantilever, elastic supports, balance weight anchor and midpoint anchor.
      • Devise the practicable test plan to measure the current condition for each main OHL equipment items listed above item, the test plan should depict detail test items, test methods, credible sample, frequency, reference standards and criterion system. The relative international standards should be quoted, otherwise benchmarking good practices from similar electric railways or industry standards are acceptable.

  • The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department
    • Comprehensive and Direct Assessment on Asset Management System of P-Way & Safety Management System (2020-2021).
      • To conduct a Comprehensive and Direct Assessment on MTRCL’s AMS of P-Way System of KTL and HSR, to check whether proper control measures have been in place to maintain the assets, and to make recommendations on the effectiveness of the existing MTRCL’s AMS system. The Consultants shall also review MTRCL’s AMS of P-Way System of KTL and HSR to confirm its compliance, suitability, effectiveness and adequacy and provide recommendations based on national / international standards or best practices of the industries.
      • The Assignment aims to conduct a Comprehensive and Direct Assessment on MTRCL’s SMS on TWL and HSR for railway safety and comprehensively cover all the eight core elements of MTRCL’s corporate safety management model, in particular focusing on the incidents on Operational Safety, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Human Factor (HF), to identify the high risk areas/ items, to check whether proper control measures have been in place to mitigate the risks, and to make recommendations to minimize the risks and enhance the effectiveness of MTRCL’s SMS.
