In-Train Entertainment System for the First Great Western (FGW) Trains (Sleeper Trains) – UK (2008)
KDL was contracted to project manage a Taiwan based display system supplier to ensure on time delivery of the in train entertainment system to the UK in a quality manner. The supply included more than 40 units of LCD display units, the interfacing hardware system and their associated software systems resided in different servers. The system was installed in the First Class saloons of the First Great Western sleeper trains with remote control and plug-in earphone features.

KDL was contracted to project manage a Taiwan based display system supplier to ensure on time delivery of the in train entertainment system to the UK in a quality manner. The supply included more than 3,300 units of seat back LCD display units, the interfacing hardware system and their associated software systems resided in more than 100 servers. The system was installed in the entertainment car of the First Great Western High Speed Trains with touch screen and plug-in earphone features.

KDL was contracted to project manage a Taiwan based display system supplier to ensure on time delivery of the in train entertainment system to the Western Australia in a quality manner. The supply included more than 348 units of seat-back TV Screens, the interfacing hardware system and their associated software systems. Details of the technical scope of the seat-back TV system such as network protocol, network connectivity, wiring diagram, material requirements, operating system of the seat display and the cable harness design shall be referenced to that being designed and developed for the First Great Western High Speed Train (HST).
